4 04/10/2023 1. 77th Independence Day Celebration of BMU On the 15th August-2023, Bhagwan Mahavir University commemorated India's 77th Independence Day with the theme "Nation First, Always First" at Sports Ground, BMU with great passion and patriotism. 2. Janmashtami Celebration (Dahi Handi) by BMU Bhagwan Mahavir University celebrated Janmashtami on 6th September-2023 with great enthusiasm and devotion, marking the birth anniversary of Lord Shree Krishna. 3. 6 14/04/2023 BMU hosted a three-day Annual Cultural Program “SPANDAN – 2023”, featuring students from all 13 colleges. They showcased their talents in music, dance, fashion, singing, and drama before an audience of parents, guests, and fellow students. This event provided valuable lessons in teamwork, coordination, and backstage work. The performances were vibrant, thematically-driven, and highly Special In This Issue energetic.
7 10/01/2023 Special In This Issue; Brazilian football legend Pele passed away on 29 December 2022, at the age of 82. Pele won three World Cup championships with Brazil and scored a total of 1,281 goals in 1,363 matches. He was also known for his sportsmanship and his commitment to using football as a tool for social change. Pele's death is a great loss not only for the football community but for the world as a whole. His legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire future generations of football players and fans. Rest in peace, Pele.
8 03/10/2022 INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION BY BMU Bhagwan Mahavir University celebrated “75th Independence Day”, which is themed as 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav with great enthusiasm on 15th August-2022. News:- Just a decade ago, Indian GDP was the eleventh largest in the world. Now, with 7 percent growth forecast for 2022, India's economy has overtaken the United Kingdom's in terms of size, making it the fifth biggest. That's according to the latest figures from the International Monetary Fund.

This event is also a very significant moment as it represents the culmination of about two decades of effort in conceptualizing, planning and building this institution with the valuable support of all the members of BMEF family.
10 06/04/2022 The Day Music Died 6th February, 2022 was a day, we lost our Veteran Singer and Bharat Ratna Ms Lata Mangeshkarji. Lata Mangeshkar, a recipient of the Bharat Ratna, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Dadasaheb Phalke Awards, was an icon of Indian cinema, having sung more than 25000 playbacks for an extensive list of Hindi films; she also sang in several regional languages including Marathi and Bengali. 11 27/01/2022 Big Loss to the Nation; 8th December was a very sad day for the nation as we have lost our CDS, General Bipin Rawat Ji, his wife Mrs Madhulika Rawat and other 11 soldiers in a very tragic accident. Rawat ji was one of the bravest soldiers, who have served the motherland with utmost devotion. His exemplary contributions and commitment cannot be put into words. We are deeply pained. BMU expresses deepest condolences for all those who sacrificed their life on duty. Our deepest respects are with the bereaved families. May God give them the strength to bear this tragic loss.
12 11/10/2021 Special In This Issue Assistant director (employment) office-Surat (Government of Gujarat) & Bhagwan Mahavir University jointly organized oncampus Mega Job Fair in physical mode where more than 4196 job seekers registered across South Gujarat & 197+ employers attended the job fair. Out of which 1636 job seekers participated in the job fair, 536 were short listed & 64 got selected.
13 12/07/2021 General Ved Prakash Malik, the real hero of Kargil War, became the guest of Bhagwan Mahavir University. He addressed the students of BMU on leadership skill Faculties and final-year students of Bhagwan Mahavir School of Nursing deputed for Covid duties during COVID-19 second wave at New Civil Hospital, Surat as there is a shortage of healthcare workers where they are taking care of mild to moderate COVID-19 patients.
