A legacy of academic excellence spanning over two decades, shaping futures across 26+ colleges and 150+ programs with world-class infrastructure and industry-aligned education.
Mechanical Engineering is the oldest and most versatile branch of engineering, and our department honors that legacy while embracing the future. It offers a comprehensive education in the design, analysis, and manufacturing of mechanical systems. Students explore subjects like thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, strength of materials, machine design, and production technology. Our workshops are bustling with activity—students working on lathes, milling machines, CNC systems, and 3D printers. Simulation labs allow students to model mechanical systems using software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ANSYS. The department also integrates modern topics such as robotics, mechatronics, and renewable energy systems.
Learning here is hands-on and immersive. Students participate in design competitions, industrial visits, and collaborative projects with manufacturing firms. They learn to think critically, solve complex problems, and innovate responsibly. Faculty members bring a wealth of experience from academia and industry, mentoring students through research, internships, and career development.Mechanical engineers from our college go on to work in automotive, aerospace, energy, and robotics sectors. They are builders, thinkers, and problem-solvers—ready to shape the machines that shape our world.
