Bhagwan Mahavir College of Design and Planning (BMCDP) is a premier institute dedicated to providing comprehensive, industry-focused education in the fields of design, planning, and creative arts. The Interior Design program was launched in 2017 as a 4-year degree under Gujarat Technological University. In 2019–2020, it transitioned to a 3-year Bachelor’s degree under Bhagwan Mahavir University. The curriculum includes space planning, furniture and lighting design, materials and finishes, and sustainable practices. With studio projects, workshops, internships, and training in advanced design technology, students graduate ready for diverse roles in residential, commercial, and institutional design.

BMCDP is proud to announce the launch of the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program which is of 3 years, designed to nurture creativity and artistic expression. This comprehensive program offers specializations in painting, sculpture, digital art, and applied arts, supported by expert mentorship and state-of-the-art facilities. The curriculum empowers aspiring artists with strong foundational skills and creative confidence for successful careers in art and design.

Additionally, the Bachelor of Fashion Design program has been launched to inspire creativity and prepare students for dynamic careers in the fashion industry. This 3-year course covers
textile design, garment construction, fashion illustration, and sustainable fashion practices. Through hands-on projects and industry exposure, students develop the skills required to excel as designers, stylists, or entrepreneurs—transforming their artistic vision into professional success.

BMCDP has taken significant steps to support this national need and inspire future urban planners, the institute launched the Master in Planning (Urban Planning) program with 2-years uration in collaboration with the Institute of Town Planners, India (ITPI). This postgraduate course equips students with the expertise to design and implement sustainable planning solutions for urban, regional, and rural settlements. Through this initiative, BMCDP reaffirms its commitment to shaping visionary planners dedicated to sustainable development.
