About Us
Bhagwan Mahavir School of Nursing under Bhagwan Mahavir Education Foundation was founded in 2009. The school of nursing is affiliated to Indian Nursing Council and Gujarat Nursing Council. Each year 40 students are admitted to General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) course. Bhagwan Mahavir School of Nursing has progressively grown in strength and scope over the years. It has highly qualified faculty, excellent infrastructure and good affiliated hospitals, which provide a wholesome experience in nursing education. New Civil Hospital, Surat is the affiliated hospital for training, which is having 1200 beds with all specialities & Super specialities providing the student clinical experience under one roof. Students will have the opportunity to get hands on experience in Medical Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing etc. Many students have placed in pioneer health institutions and many of them are regarded as one among the best in the nursing profession because of their clinical experience they have received from here.

At the completion of GNM Programme, the nursing professionals are expected to: 1) Apply nursing process in nursing care for clients that contribute to health of individual, families and communities. 2) Prepare nurse professionals with a strong scientific background who will function as nurse, teachers and administrators.
